I think it makes a difference to all the contestants, whether it be good or bad. Some people find that modeling isn't for them but wouldn't have known otherwise because it's hard to get to the stages that these girls are thrown onto.

I do agree that the TOP one doesn't have it made... They need to do other work to be taken seriously. Again, you're correct that it's just a platform to get models noticed and give them some feedback and experience. The rest is up to them. I guess it becomes a philosophical question then, do they experience this then change? ~ or does the experience change them? ^^ Some people make no changes based on their experiences and go back to whatever it is they did before.

Either way, it's a show and made for amusement. What the models do after is up to them and there's now been about 100+ models to pass through the US cycles alone so it's a mixed bag.

It is good to know that you watch the Next Top Model. You watched the US version and now the Canadian version. But do you think such events make any difference in the life of the participants.. I don't think so. The model selected as the TOP will have to begin the regular grilling in the industry to get some work and all those things. Or maybe it will gove a platform to the upcoming models.

I loved the white outfit. I think Brooke had it on.

It was just so flowy and grecian looking.

Mom used to make such amazing costumes for us as kids, and now I still make my own!

I don't know about as infants, but when we were a bit older we were coke cans, crayons, carrots, spiders, on and on!

I didn't think it was possible to create makeup in such a way that is cruel to animals. Barring that, PETA is an organization full of crazies. They want Ben and Jerry's to use human breast milk.

Ha! I never thought I'd hear a girl say they liked a DOA game, let alone DOA Beach Volleyball. Though I guess I didn't "hear" it. I can't believe they made a sequel.
