The Free Game on My Porch - Woohoo!

Published by yokoshima at 10:50 pm under Entertainment Edit This

So I got home from a long bs day of being on my feet working a mall promo for 10 hours… and there were lots of things on my porch; miscellaneous garbage I had left the morning, a paper I hoped would not be a notice wanting to fine me for the garbage I had left on my own porch, a magazine, and a mystery package. The magazine was the new Bazaar with Victoria Beckham on it. I love her and she looks interesting on the cover, but it’s not what I expected of her for a look. The notice was only telling me they’re sweeping my rain gutters - whew! The package was addressed from a mysterious research company. What could it be?

Well about a month ago I filled out some survey about an upcoming video game. I watched movies, answered questions, and ranked features. After a bunch of clicking, the survey was done and I got to select a free game from the list. It was a Midway game and I didn’t like the titles they had for 360. They had some cool PSP games that I already have. Midway has some great nostalgic games. I chose Ultimate Mortal Kombat for DS as my first choice. I don’t have a lot of DS games so I wanted more. The survey thing told me to wait some time that seemed like a long time and I had to be one of the first 400 or so respondents and there was no way to tell if I had made it in time. Either way, at least I had enjoyed the survey. I wish I could say something about the game they were surveying on but it will come along soon enough and I know everyone will be talking about this one. About 2 weeks later here I am with my Ultimate MK for DS. I’m a happy person. THEN… I realize it’s that Mortal Kombat game that’s been made into a puzzle mini-game. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rejoice.

Proof that clicking around on crap on the computer can be prosperous…
