The new TV show Stylista started a few weeks ago. I’ve been watching it so far and there’s a new episode tonight. It’s on the CW here after Top Model.

I really hope things pick up on that show. It’s a good concept but it feels like so little happens. I can’t believe it’s an hour but doesn’t feel like it. Maybe it’s because there’s still a lot of people in it. I can’t wait for that annoying law chick with big boobs to go. Sorry to use that as the description but I can’t think of much else that stands out about her except that she’s dramatic and hard for other people on the show to work with.

Last week they went to China Town to make a page spread on a “hidden gem” location. The team with the girl who learned to speak chinese in school should have done better with either a better page layout or a more visually appealing location. I think that chick is pretty cool. If I recall correctly, their team also had the wierdo that acted like he was dying because of a panic attack. They had to bring him in an ambulence in NYC of all places… (imagine that bill… although it could be less than a cab if it doesn’t charge per minute) There wasn’t even anything that stressful happening. It was a team project they had under control and it’s not like it’s the first ellimation either. I thought that was ridiculous.

My other main comment would be that the editor boss lady is wierd and overacting. She doesn’t give me a very good impression of Elle magazine. Seriously! I subscribe but if she’s really important there I might consider cancelling. I like to support more positive things. She’s hideously negative, insults others, and she’s not even that great herself. If she’s all about connections or fame, the result is rather undesirable.

The prize of the show is a one year position at Elle magazine and lodging there in NYC for one year. That sucks. What happens after a year. You have to try to swim in NYC or find a new job back at home on this success. This success meaning that you achieved a position in a competition for reality tv.

Why do I watch these things. I don’t know. Well actually yes I do! 1) It’s fun 2) Visually appealing and crafty 3) People DOING things 4) photoshoots 5) fashion!

I’ll be watching Stylista after Top Model tonight. For tonight’s ANTM ellimination, I hope Elina goes. She’s pretty but inside she’s an ugly biatch. D: Plus Shheeenaw is already gone and I like McKey and Babyface (Sam) :] Marjorie and Analeigh at stake too. Darn, I forgot about them. That’s not a good sign! I had to look at my notes, but now I remember last week them all in the bathtub. Falallalala~~
